Our Story
How CAPSOL Started
In 2013, our founder Steve Birdsall was working in Boston when the marathon bombing happened. In the days after, one question stuck with him: if we could have spotted the threat sooner, could we have warned people in time?
That question became CAPSOL in 2014. Along the way, we decided to build our own platform instead of depending on someone else’s. Our first CAPSOLControl system went into service in Osan, Korea.
Today the focus is the same as day one: get the right message to the right people, fast.
